Product Detail
Harauti Bamboo (Bambusa Balcooa)
Bambusa Balcooa, locally known as Harauti Bamboo, is native to Nepal’s mid-western regions, including Makwanpur, Nawalparasi, Bara, and Chitwan. With a diameter of 3 to 3.5 inches and a usable height of up to 22 feet, this species is recognized as one of the strongest bamboos in the world, thanks to its short internodal distances and dense inner membrane.
Due to its exceptional strength and load-bearing capacity, properly treated and seasoned Bambusa Balcooa is widely used for permanent structures, including posts, pillars, and purlins in heavy-duty construction. Its durability, sustainability, and resistance to environmental conditions make it an ideal choice for structural applications, eco-friendly architecture, and resilient infrastructure.
