Product Detail
Flatten Bamboo
Mal Bamboo (Bambusa Nutan) is a highly sustainable and versatile material commonly used in eco-friendly construction. With an average length of 22 feet, the bottom 10-12 feet of Mal Bamboo is utilized for structural components such as bamboo furniture and building materials, thanks to its strength and durability. The upper portion of the bamboo is flattened or crushed to transform its natural round shape into flat panels with a maximum width of 8 inches, a thickness of 16 mm, and a length of 6 to 9 feet.
These flattened bamboo panels are ideal for roofing insulation and wall panels in CBFT (Cement Bamboo Frame Technology) and Bahareque walls, making them perfect for the construction of bamboo houses. Using Mal Bamboo for insulation and structural applications enhances thermal efficiency as well as supports sustainable architecture and green building practices, offering a cost-effective, durable, and environmentally friendly solution for modern construction.
