While mud houses have been a traditional part of Nepal’s architecture for centuries, our rammed earth technique enhances these age-old designs by using compressed layers of earth to create durable, long-lasting structures. This modern adaptation ensures that the homes are more resistant to natural forces like earthquakes and strong winds, offering superior stability and durability compared to conventional mud homes.
The thick, compacted walls provide natural insulation, regulating indoor temperatures in both hot and cold climates, thereby reducing the need for artificial heating and cooling. By using locally sourced, natural materials, we are preserving the traditional Nepali mud house design and also contributing to a greener and more energy-efficient future.
